EU: Export and import licences as of Feb. 2, 2010

The EU granted the following export licences from July 1, 2009 to February 2, 2010: wheat (excl. durum) 10.3 (year-ago period 12.6) mln t, durum 315,000 (852,000) t, barley 445,000 (3.0 mln) t, corn 569,000 (1.1 mln) t, rye 53,000 (61,000) t, oats 109,000 (71,000) t. The total export licence volume thus reached 12.7 (18.7) mln t.
Import licences totalled 5.9 (8.0) mln t, thereof wheat (excl. durum) 2.5 (4.5) mln t, durum 1.5 mln (570,000) t, barley 83,000 (207,000) t, corn 1.8 (2.4) mln t, and sorghum 4,000 (256,000) t.
