EU intervention offers as of Feb. 28, 2010

In the EU-27, 4.0 mln t of grain have been offered into intervention since July 1, 2009, thereof barley 3.8 mln t and wheat (excluding durum) 134,000 t. Offers in selected countries: Germany 1.2 mln t of barley, France 888,000 t of barley, Finland 432,000 t of grain including 423,000 t of barley and 8,000 t of wheat, Czech Republic 280,000 t of grain incl. 222,000 t of barley and 57,000 t of wheat, Poland 266,000 t of barley; Hungary 232,000 t of grain incl. 195,000 t of barley and 37,000 t of wheat, Slovakia 163,000 t of grain incl. 133,000 t of barley and 30,000 t of wheat, Lithuania 115,000 t of barley, and Sweden 113,000 t of barley.
