World: 2010 rapeseed acreage and production forecast unchanged

Informa Economics left its forecast for the 2010 global rapeseed acreage at 32.1 (previous year 30.7) mln ha including 6.4 (6.6) mln ha in the EU, 7.5 (7.0) mln ha in China, and 6.5 (6.1) mln ha in Canada. Production is seen at 60.6 (59.9) mln t, thereof 20.3 (21.4) mln t in the EU, 12.7 (11.8) mln t in Canada and 14.3 (13.5) mln t in China.
