India: Soil meal exports from Oct. 2009 to Feb. 2010 still sharply down on year

Oil World reports that India exported 1.5 mln t of soybean meal in the first five months of marketing year 2009/10 (Oct./Sept.), which is sharply below the 2.5 mln t exported in the same period of the previous season. Main destinations were Vietnam with 431,000 (736,000) t, Japan with 249,000 (441,000) t, and Thailand with 135,000 (119,000) t.
