USA: Soybean plantings 97% done as of June 27, 2010

The USDA reports that 97% of the 2010 soybean crop has been planted until June 27, 2010, up from the 93% of the week before and compared to the 95% planted at the same date last year. 93 (87; 90)% thereof have emerged. 96 (91; 98)% of the winter wheat has headed and 38 (17%; 33)% has been harvested.
Currently, 73 (75; 72)% of the corn crop is rated good to excellent and 8 (7; 7)% poor to very poor. Soybean condition is rated 67 (69; 68) % good to excellent and 7 (8; 6) poor to very poor, that of spring wheat 84 (84; 76)% good to excellent and 2 (1; 6)% poor to very poor, and of winter wheat 64 (65; 45)% good to excellent and 10 (9; 28)% poor to very poor.
