EU: Export and import licences as of June 29, 2010

The EU granted the following export licences from July 1, 2009 to June 29, 2010: wheat (excluding durum) 17.9 (year-ago period 21.8) mln t, durum 918,000 (1.4 mln) t, barley 1.4 (3.4) mln t, corn 1.4 (1.6) mln t, rye 101,000 (114,000) t, and oats 230,000 (89,000) t. The total export licence volume thus reached 23.4 (30.1) mln t.
Import licences totalled 7.7 (11.2) mln t, thereof those for wheat 3.0 (5.9) mln t, for durum 2.2 (1.3) mln t, for barley 103,000 (259,000) t, for corn 2.3 (3.4) mln t, and for sorghum 6,000 (282,000) t.
