France: 2009/10 wheat, barley and corn exports

According to the government, France exported 13.9 mln t of wheat (excluding durum) from July 1, 2009 to June 1, 2010 compared to 13.8 mln t in the same period of the previous season. 5.9 (5.6) mln t thereof went to other EU countries including 1.4 (1.3) mln t to Italy, 1.4 (1.4) mln t to the Netherlands, 1.4 (1.1) mln t to Belgium, 689,000 (702,000) t to Spain, and 551,000 (484,000) t to Portugal. 8.0 (8.3) mln t were exported to third countries.
Barley exports reached 4.0 (4.2) mln t, thereof those to other EU countries 3.5 (3.1) mln t and those to third countries 491,000 (1.1 mln) t. Main destinations in the EU were Belgium with 1.1 (1.1) mln t, the Netherlands with 809,000 (732,000) t, Spain with 546,000 (138,000) t, Germany with 527,000 (707,000) t, and Italy with 315,000 (238,000) t.
6.1 (5.1) mln t of corn were exported including 5.8 (4.8) mln t to other EU countries and 337,000 (289,000) t to third countries. Main destinations were Spain with 1.8 (1.6) mln t, the Netherlands with 1.3 (1.2) mln t, Germany with 495,000 (313,000) t, Belgium with 492,000 (553,000) t, the UK with 489,000 (392,000) t, Italy with 340,000 (222,000) t, and Ireland with 327,000 (209,000) t.
