France: Grain sales at 58.8 mln t as of June 1, 2010

According to the government, French farmers sold 58.8 mln t of grain from July 1, 2009 until June 1, 2010. This is above the 56.3 mln t sold in the same period of the previous season. The figure includes 32.0 (30.9) mln t of wheat (excl. durum), 1.9 (2.0) mln t of durum, 10.5 (9.7) mln t of barley, 13.0 (12.6) mln t of corn, and 769,000 (650,000) t of triticale.
