World: 2010/11 corn output estimate revised down to 830.2 mln t

Informa Economics now projects global 2010/11 corn production lower at 830.2 (previous forecast 830.9; previous year 818.9) mln t. The forecast for the USA was revised down to 336.3 (338.7; 333.0) mln t and that for Mexico to 24.0 (24.5; 21.3) mln t, while the projection for the EU was raised to 57.7 (57.0; 55.6) mln t.
