EU: 2010/11 rapeseed output forecast revised down to 20.4 mln t

Oil World forecasts 2010/11 (July/June) rapeseed production in the EU now at 20.4 mln t which is below the previous projection of 20.7 mln t and the 21.6 mln t harvested in the previous season. Production in Germany is expected at 5.8 (last year 6.2) mln t, in France at 4.9 (5.6) mln t, in Poland at 2.2 (2.5) mln t, in the UK at 2.1 (2.0) mln t, and in the Czech Republic at 1.1 (1.2) mln t. I
Imports are estimated at 2.2 (2.5; 2.2) mln t, crush at 22.0 (22.6; 22.7) mln t, and ending stocks at 970,000 (970,000; 1.4 mln) t.
