World: 2010/11 sunseed supply and demand

Oil World still forecasts global 2010/11 sunseed production to amount to 34.3 mln t, unchanged from the previous forecast and up from the 31.8 mln t produced in 2009/10. Output in the EU is seen at 6.9 (6.8; 7.0) mln t, in Russia at 7.3 (7.3; 6.3) mln t, in Ukraine at 7.2 (7.2; 7.1) mln t, in Argentina at 3.4 (3.4; 2.3) mln t, and in the USA at 1.4 (1.4; 1.4) mln t. Worldwide crush is seen reaching 30.7 (30.6; 29.7) mln t and ending stocks 2.0 (2.1; 1.8) mln t.
