France: Compound feed output 3% down on year in July 2009-May 2010

The SNIA reports that compound feed production in France amounted to 18.7 mln t from July 2009 until May 2010 and was thus 3% lower than the 19.3 mln t produced in the year-ago period. Cattle feed output declined by 8% to 3.8 (4.1) mln t and that of hog feed by 4% to 5.3 (5.5) mln t. Poultry feed output was nearly unchanged at 7.7 mln t.
