Czech Republic: 2010 wheat production seen unchanged from last year

The Czech statistics office estimates this year’s total wheat production at 4.38 mln t, which is slightly above the 4.36 mln t produced in 2009. Barley production is seen at 1.7 (2.0) mln t, thereof spring barley at 1.2 (1.4) mln t, rye at 132,000 (178,000) t, triticale at 192,000 (223,000) and oats at 176,000 (166,000) t. Rapeseed output is expected at 1.14 (1.13) mln t.
