USA: Milk production in Jan.-June 2010 slightly up on year

The USDA reports that US milk production reached 44.0 mln t from Jan.-June 2010 which is slightly above the 43.7 mln t produced in the same period of last year. The number of milk cows in June 2010 was 9.1 (9.2) mln.
