Ukraine: 4.1 mln t of wheat harvested as of July 16, 2010

According to UkrAgroConsult, 4.1 mln t (bunker weight) of wheat (including durum) have been harvested as of July 16, 2010, which is down from the 8.8 mln t harvested at the same time last year. The harvested area reached 1.5 (3.1) mln ha and yields 2.7 (2.8) t/ha.
Barley harvesting stood at 3.8 (5.4) mln t from an acreage of 1.7 (2.1) mln ha with yields averaging 2.25 (2.55) t/ha.
