EU: Export and import licences as of July 22, 2010

The EU granted the following export licenses from July 1 to 20, 2010: wheat (excluding durum) 669,000 (year-ago period 625,000) t, durum 27,000 (8,000) t, barley 328,000 (133,000) t, corn 25,000 (50,000) t, rye 37,000 (0) t, and oats 1,000 (1,000; 0) t. The total export license volume thus reached 1.1 mln (942,000) t.
Import licenses totalled 231,000 (1.3 mln) t, thereof those for wheat 71,000 (708,000) t, for durum 43,000 (317,000) t, for barley 0 (14,000) t, and for corn 115,000 (237,000) t.
