Russia: Wheat exports in 2009/10 at 18.2 mln t

According to SovEcon, Russia exported 18.2 mln t of wheat in 2009/10 (July/June) after 18.0 mln t in the previous marketing year and the 11.6 mln t in 2007/08. Main destinations were Egypt with 6.1 (previous year 4.9) mln t, followed by Turkey with 2.4 (2.2) mln t, and Syria with 1.0 (1.0) mln t.
Total barley exports reached 2.8 (3.5) mln t.
