EU: Export and import licences as of July 27, 2010

The EU granted the following export licences from July 1 to July 27, 2010: wheat (excl. durum) 927,000 (year-ago period 1.1 mln) t, durum 27,000 (9,000) t, barley 367,000 (145,000) t, corn 33,000 (71,000) t, rye 37,000 (1,000) t, and oats 2,000 (1,000) t. The total export licence volume thus reached 1.5 (1.4) mln t.
Import licences totalled 365,000 (1.4 mln) t, thereof wheat (excl. durum) 107,000 (751,000) t, durum 46,000 (353,000) t, barley 0 (33,000) t, corn 210,000 (262,000) t, and sorghum 0 (1,000) t.
