Ukraine: 14.2 mln t of wheat harvested as of July 28, 2010

According to UkrAgroConsult, 14.2 mln t (bunker weight) of wheat (including durum) have been harvested as of July 28, 2010, which is down from the 14.7 mln t harvested at the same time last year. The harvested area reached 5.2 (4.9) mln ha and yields 2.74 (2.99) t/ha.
Barley harvesting stood at 7.8 (7.7) mln t from an acreage of 3.8 (3.1) mln ha with yields averaging 2.08 (2.49) t/ha.
