Canada: Canola crush up on year from August to December 2011

According to Statistics Canada, canola crush from August through December 2011 has reached 2.9 mln t, which is 10% higher than the 2.6 mln t reported during the same period last year. Oil production during this period was reported at 1.3 (1.1) ml t and meal production reached 1.6 (1.5) mln t.
