Argentina: 2009 soybean crop unchanged at 34.0 mln t

The Buenos Aires Grain Exchange left its estimate for this year’s soybean output in Argentina unchanged from the week before at 34.0 mln t. This compares to 46.2 mln t produced last year.
As of April 6, 2009, 83% of the soybeans were harvested compared to 71% one week earlier. Yields averaged 2.0 (week before: 2.1) t/ha.
