Quality Management

Quality systems have become more significant in the international trade with agricultural commodities as well. Toepfer International supported this development and substantially contributed towards establishing the GTP Code (Code of Good Trading Practice) within the scope of the European Association for grains, oilseeds, and feedstuffs trade (COCERAL). Since February 2002, we are one of the first companies ever to be certified according to GTP. We were already certified according to the Dutch GMP Code (Good Manufacturing Practice) in April 2001.
We are also active in the sustainability debate and support the developments in different regions to preserve the resources of this earth.
As part of the value-added chain, the trade is fully aware of its responsibility. More transparency will support the desire for more safety in the food and feedstuff industry.
Documentation, control of origin, analyses by independent institutes and the associated monitoring are just a few keywords of our comprehensive quality management. Quality assurance is just as self-evident as the best possible compliance with all traceability requirements.
The multifaceted area of responsibility includes, among other things, maximum residue limits, HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) requirements, feedstuff hygiene, genetically modified agricultural commodities, and sustainability.
For all modifications and statutory requirements, we try to find practicable solutions in coordination with all participants and to implement them to the benefit of the entire feedstuff and food products chain.
