Ukraine: 10.7 mln t of wheat harvested as of July 23, 2010

According to UkrAgroConsult, 10.7 mln t (bunker weight) of wheat (including durum) have been harvested as of July 23, 2010, which is down from the 14.7 mln t harvested at the same time last year. The harvested area reached 4.0 (4.9) mln ha and yields 2.7 (3.0) t/ha.
Barley harvesting stood at 6.2 (7.7) mln t from an acreage of 2.9 (3.1) mln ha with yields averaging 2.1 (2.5) t/ha.
