Canada: 2008/09 canola production still expected at 12.6 mln t

Oil World forecasts Canada’s canola production still at 12.6 mln t for marketing year 2008/09 (Aug./July), unchanged from the previous forecast. In the year before, only 9.6 mln t had been produced. Exports are expected higher now at 7.6 (6.9; 5.8) mln t, ending stocks lower at 2.1 (2.5; 1.5) mln t.
